Russia and Korea will create a new technology fund

VEB Ventures and South Korean management company Daedeok Ventures Partners (DVP) will create a Russian-Korean investment fund with a volume up to 200 million dollars. The companies agreed on this by signing a contract on strategic cooperation. It is expected that leading Russian and Korean funding organizations, public and private investors will be participants of the fund.

Minsvyaz is ready to spend 335 million rubles for assessing the achievements of the digital economy

The Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of Russia (Minsvyaz) announced the tender worth 335 million rubles to provide the service of estimation of digital economy development in Russia. The contractor will have to develop a methodology for statistical observations to measure parameters of development of the digital economy. Big Data will be used in statistical calculations, also a system of business analytics will be created for the website of Minsvyaz.

LG Electronics completes construction of a new building in Ruza

The ceremony of end of construction of the new industrial-warehouse building on the territory of LG Electronics plant took place in Ruza city district of Moscow region. Viavi Solutions is going to localize the production

Viavi Solutions, the international manufacturer of measuring equipment for communication networks, has announced the project on localization of equipment and technologies for Russian telecom operators launching 5G. This autumn the company is going to open the engineering centre for modeling key nodes and elements of infrastructure of a new generation of communication networks. Moreover, the 4.4-4.99 GHz band, offered by the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation with the aim to develop 5G in Russia,  isn’t a problem for the company.

Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (MIPT) and Huawei concluded the cooperation in the sphere of artificial intelligence

The competence centre of national technological initiatives, supported by MIPT, and Huawei company agreed to start the cooperation. As a first step, Huawei helped to translate the almanac on artificial intelligence, released by the competence centre of national technological initiatives in June, in Chineese.
