This year, the 26th International Forum of Security & Safety Technologies was held in a powerful hybrid format: six weeks of exchange of technological expertise, case studies and projects, discussions of the tasks of the largest customers, demonstrations of technologies and solutions.
The online program of the Forum is in full swing — it will continue till March 5, 2021. But it is already possible to sum up the results of the first offline event of this year. The hybrid format of the Forum allowed to spend these 3 days from February 9 to 11 in a rich and productive way: discuss current issues, hold productive meetings, exchange experience with colleagues, find solutions and enjoy communication.
Despite the fears of the organizers and participants justified by the pandemic situation, the new format provided a targeted and high-quality attraction of participants, brought the event to a new level in terms of ease of interaction and geographical coverage.
The live format gathered 4 828 directors and specialists for all 3 days of the Forum. Another 2 792 visitors joined the online broadcasts and discussions that took place in parallel in conference halls of the Forum.
The first two days of activity at the exposition and at conferences occupied almost all the time of participants, the third day of the Forum was devoted to the business program and discussions of tasks and contracts, implementation and modernization plans, prospects for cooperation and pilot projects and private meetings with customers in the VIP-Lounge.
Every day — focus on specific cases and industries: the thematic content of the business program allowed to separate the flow and accept delegations of representatives of state agencies and departments, heads of transport facilities and transport infrastructure, municipal and regional administrations responsible for fire safety of places of mass gathering, directors from information and comprehensive security industry, the oil and gas sector and power sector, heads of security, economic security, safety of retailers and shopping centers, security directors, heads of information and analytical departments, information security departments, physical protection, personal security of banks and financial organizations.
The business program of the offline Forum was formed by conferences dedicated to discussing current issues and the implementation of modern and digital technologies in transport, industry, oil and gas sector and electric power field, retail and financial organizations, in projects and programs of smart cities. Information security issues were discussed during all three days of the Forum and included such actual topics as information protection during the remote work, implementation of legislation in the field of CII security and protection of automated control systems, integration of cybersecurity systems during the digital transformation of an enterprise, import substitution in the field of CII.
Among 160 speakers — regulators, major customers, recognized experts. The main principles of building the program of events and the exposition of the Forum – support of active and professional people who create security architecture and technologies, create conditions for effective interaction, reduce barriers and ensure transparency of cooperation.

An interesting observation: in 2020 over 7 000 specialists participated in 55 thematic online conferences and round tables organized by the Forum team. And three days of the hybrid Forum brought together 7 620 managers and specialists from various enterprises and industries, proving that despite the obvious success and a high level of trust to online contacts on the Grotek platform, representatives of large Russian buyers value personal communication with each other and with key suppliers to create an atmosphere of transparency and cooperation.
