Huawei and RANEPA will prepare personnel for the state program "Digital economy"

Huawei and the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (RANEPA), one of the leading university of Russia, concluded a Memorandum of understanding at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.

The agreement was signed by Aiden Wu, CEO of Huawei in Eurasia, and Vladimir Mau, the rector of RANEPA.

The Memorandum is aimed at the partnership between Huawei and RANEPA on the joint development of educational initiatives, based on modern information and communication technologies. In particular, organizations showed their interest to the joint training of personnel to realize the state program «Digital economy», lectures and workshops for CDTO learning, and also the international and information cooperation. To achieve these goals Huawei and RANEPA will build the exchange of experience in the field of training of specialists of different industries, based on modern information and communications technologies (ICT). The international exchange of students and specialists will be organized. Mutual consultations on the international activities are planned.

Russia is famous for its bright scientific potential and taking into account that one of the main priorities of Huawei is a non-stopping scientific studies, we will be happy to take the cooperation with one of the leading university of the country to the new level and promote together the sphere of information and communications technologies", – said Aiden Wu, CEO of Huawei in Eurasia.

Our academy has a significant experience in network training of highly qualified personnel for the state management in the context of digital transformation. We successfully realize the program of advanced training «The Head of digital transformation», within which we will prepare 1300 specialists this year. Sure that the joint experience of RANEPA with the global technology giant Huawei will allow us to take the development of educational programs in the context of digital transformation to the absolutely new level, prepare future leaders of technological breakthrough of our country", – noted Vladimir Mau, the rector of RANEPA.
